Junior High School 4 Kudus or SMP 4 Kudus has a lot of unique traditions. One of them is * An Honour Marching* or SMP 4 Kudus people call it Jajar Kehormatan. It is a tradition to give respect to those who are retired or who get a promotion. The tradition is held on the last day of the birth month or the day he or she gets the promotion. It begins with a short speech from the principal as an appreciation to those who are retired. Then, a retired officer gives his/her farewell speech. After that, all of the teachers and staffs stand in line to congratulate for his success carrying out the task until at the retiring age. While walking to each person, the retired officer greets and asks for apology to everyone. The song of  A tribute to teachers or Hymne Guru is sung by one of the teachers as a backsound. It is so simple but it is so impressing. Only SMP 4 Kudus that has and holds a such beautiful tradition. It will be remembered for all life. Thank you to those who have dedicated his or her life for the glory of SMP 4 Kudus. You stay in our heart.
